Terms of use

Terms that apply when you use the AIHRI public website.

Informational purpose

The AIHRI public website provides information about the Institute, its assurance model and its intended assessment activities. It is provided for general information only. Nothing on this website constitutes certification, endorsement, or a guarantee of any outcome.

No statutory or regulatory authority

AIHRI is a private organisation. It is not a governmental body, statutory regulator, notified body or public authority. References on this website to "regulatory" work refer to activity within regulated healthcare environments and do not imply statutory powers.

Provider of the website

The AIHRI public website is provided by AI Health Regulatory Institute Limited, a private company limited by shares incorporated in Ireland under CRO 798450, with its registered office at Abbots Grove Avenue, Knocklyon, Dublin, Ireland.

No professional, clinical or legal advice

Information on this website does not constitute clinical, medical, legal or professional advice. Readers should obtain their own qualified advice before making decisions based on material published here.

No guarantee of outcomes

Descriptions of the assurance model, the assessment lifecycle and related activities describe AIHRI's intended approach. They do not guarantee any specific certification outcome, safety outcome or clinical outcome.

Intellectual property

The AIHRI name, wordmark, monogram, seal, page content, diagrams and design system are the property of AIHRI or its licensors and are protected by copyright and other rights. You may read the website and print reasonable extracts for your own reference. Any other reproduction, redistribution or commercial use requires prior written permission from AIHRI.

Acceptable use

You agree not to interfere with the operation of the website, not to attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of it, not to submit material that is unlawful or misleading and not to use the enquiry forms to send confidential clinical or patient information.

External links

Where the website links to external resources, those resources are provided for convenience. AIHRI does not endorse and is not responsible for the content, accuracy or practices of external sites.

Reliance on future material

Any draft criteria, procedures, scheme descriptions or role definitions published during the foundation phase are informational. They are not contractual commitments and may be amended before formal publication. Certification scheme documents will only take effect once formally authorised and published under AIHRI's controlled-document register.

Limitation of liability

AIHRI takes reasonable care to maintain accurate and available website content, but does not warrant that the website or its content will always be complete, accurate, current, uninterrupted or error-free.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, AIHRI excludes liability for indirect, incidental, consequential or economic loss arising from use of, or reliance on, the public website.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, and any mandatory consumer right under applicable law.

Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms and any dispute arising from the use of the website are governed by the laws of Ireland. Subject to any mandatory rights available to a consumer to bring or defend proceedings in another competent court, the courts of Ireland shall have jurisdiction.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found by a competent court to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable, that provision shall be severed to the minimum extent necessary and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

No waiver

A failure or delay by AIHRI to enforce any provision of these Terms shall not operate as a waiver of that provision or of any other right or remedy.

AIHRI may update these terms from time to time. The version and last-reviewed date recorded at the foot of this page indicate the current version.
